Mike is a proactive marketing professional with extensive brand-building experience
and demonstrated success in establishing market presence and driving sales. With more
than 25 years in marketing and advertising, his expertise includes sales and market
share acceleration, territory development and expansion, public and media relations,
advertising planning, customer relationship management, and strategic business planning.

Mike’s experience includes:

Developing one of the most successful customer loyalty programs
in retail, with members delivering more than 50% of chain sales

Building and managing the marketing program for a leading
specialty retailer from start-up to a $1 billion IPO

Creating strong customer relationship management programs, including direct mail
prospecting programs yielding results at three to five times the national average

Planning and executing creative services (print, TV, radio, internet)

Coordinating market research and business intelligence studies
to build and exploit knowledge about customers

Evaluating, selecting, and overseeing relationships with outside agencies

Most recently, Mike served as Vice President of Marketing for DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse),
the leading name-brand, off-price shoe retailer in the United States. He previously served as Director of Advertising for DSW and Advertising Manager for Shonac Corporation.
