Chris
is a writer and creative director with expertise in brand
development and communications. She has developed product
concepts for a number of national brands, and has managed
in-store and web site marketing and advertising initiatives
to guide key brand growth for leading personal care retailers.
Chris excels at creating the voice and philosophy for new
retail concepts, and has experience in developing customer
service training materials.
Over
the course of her creative career, Chris has:
- Directed the creative development and managed the execution
of brand advertising for a $1.9 billion personal care retailer
- Developed a new image for a leading home fragrance retailer,
the launch of which resulted in 54% sales increases
- Led teams of writers, art directors, and designers in creation
of in-store advertising and related marketing materials
- Managed photo shoots for retail advertising initiatives
- Created the concepts for a number of new product lines
Chris
is the principal at her creative communications firm, Verb
Garden. Previously, she spent 13 years with Bath & Body
Works, The White Barn Candle Company, and Victoria’s
Secret Beauty as both Copy Director and Creative Director.
At present, she helps retailers in the food, pet care, fashion,
and beauty industries create new product concepts and give
a fresh voice to their growing brands.
